Melissa Hermiston - Director at Large

Melissa is one of many Metro Vancouver escapees who has found a peaceful and fulfilling life for her and her family in the 100 Mile House area since moving here in 2016. 

She has been a fan of all things performing arts-related since she was a child, when she acted and did voice over work in several TV commercials and small-scale productions. 

She also performed in a family band for several years with her four brothers, which is just as embarrassing (but also adorable) as it sounds. 

In recent years, Melissa has reconnected with her love of music and theatre by performing with Eclectica Community Choir and taking on the role of producer for 100 Mile Performing Arts Society’s production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid in early 2020. She enjoys writing, singing, Nordic skiing, camping and hanging out with her husband, two kids and way too many pets. 

Melissa is looking forward to helping bring some amazing entertainment back to the stage here in 100 Mile House and shining a spotlight on our community’s fantastic talent.
